my first creations.

Jewellery making has always been a topic of interest to me. But ive never been given the oppertunity to give it a go! To my suprise, my partner bought me a nice little set up, to get me started!

I'd like to share with you my first creations. theyre nothing special, just something simple that i started out with.

The future of my jewellery making is going to be very exciting, i plan to make many pieces, ranging from fun childrens wear, funky chic pieces to elegant pieces for a special night out!

In the mean time, ill keep practising my skills {i use that word very loosely!} And hope to improve, experiment and create some very special pieces!

Here are a few of my creations thus far.

These are 3 pairs of earrings, unfortunetly the picture doesnt show the pattern in the beads in the second pair here, which is ashame, since it's one of my favourite  pair. These are pretty much the easiest earrings to make, Although i do still need to work on it! Practise makes perfect!

Ive only made one of this pair, which means its not yet a pair! This is simply because its much more trickier to make, Also im still not sure if i like the chandelier attatchment, or the beads sitting on the chandelier! Opinions on this would be great!

As for these two pieces, these are what i made for myself. The earring's again, simple to make, and look great in my opinion.  The neckpiece, I actually just love this, and cant believe i made something of this detail myself! I used an antique silver pendant piece, simply because i love silver! Using some steampunk watch parts, I decorated around a photo of my partner and sun, glued them all together and wa-lah! To complete the piece, I added a locket finding to the pendant and placed my masterpice onto a 20inch silverplated chain.

That's all i have for this entry, i do plan on making more pieces quite soon. And as soon as i do, you'll get the picture's and the details!

Feel free to comment on any piece thus far. Honesty would be greatly appreciated, I want to be more than average at this art, I want to be great!
